Re: Application: Elbowgrease, 80 Warrior
A very competent application. I do have two questions though. First, why are you using nightmare tear and a sovereign when the whole purpose of the relentless meta is to only require one blue gem? Secondly, you appear to be roughly 100 hit rating under hit cap, and nearly 100 over expertise rating cap. Have you considered citadel enforcers claymore from 10 marrowgar instead of one of your axes? That would solve your issue in a single swap.
Rather minor issues, simply solved, and likely with reasonable explanations. I approve. _____________________________ Victory favors neither the righteous, nor the wicked. Victory favors the prepared.

Re: Application: Elbowgrease, 80 Warrior
Hi Elbowgrease. Thanks for applying to Unleashed and for taking the time to make the app worth reading. I have a few questions in addition to those from Plaguemourne. Would you be able to spec arms if it were needed? What's your tanking experience at 80 on this character? Could you provide a picture of your UI? What are your latency and framerate in Dal? Do you ever have connection issues, if so what are they and how frequent?
Often, our raids are full and we have more than 25 people to fill the limited spots. We are always able to get new recruits into raids before very long, if they show up consistently and don't disappear as soon as they don't get a spot at the beginning of the raid. It's understandable that many people don't want to wait around on a waitlist, but in order to get a raid spot in this guild right now, that's what it will take. Once you get into some raids, your performance and our raid comp needs will begin to determine your prio for raid spots. So, how do you feel about this?

Re: Application: Elbowgrease, 80 Warrior
Actually he is at the hit cap b/c he has 3/3 Precision Increasing his hit rating by 3. A better question is why is he is using an ArmorPen proc trinket when he is at the ArmorPen cap.

Re: Application: Elbowgrease, 80 Warrior
He is hit cappedand expertise capped by a ways, and only 32 away from crit cap with the current setup. Still nearly 20% from ArP hard cap. Swapping out that ArP trinket for a DV and working for more ArP is really the only upgrade that could happen here.

Re: Application: Elbowgrease, 80 Warrior
hmmI must have been missed informed. I was under the impression that ArP cap was 1200 but still a very strong app imo.

Re: Application: Elbowgrease, 80 Warrior
Sry for the late response as I did not realize you were responding to me in the forums as the app said I would receive a private message so I have been just checking the mail.
As of right now i need one trinket which will come out of ICC so its kind of a wait period till I get priority on its drop. Outside of that the only thing wrong with my gear and or spec is I have one extra blue gem which will be replaced when I buy my new helm soon. The helm I have is a Palli helm and worthless for a warrior with or with out the gem but its holding me over. That being said, based on the content I have had the availability to see on this toon my gear is on par and headed in the right direction. I am hit capped and yes I am a little over the expertise cap of 26 but all I can do about this currently is raid and work towards new pieces that have less expertise.
So to answer the other questions: Yes I am able to spec arms but I will have you know I have not read up on arms at all nor have I ever been. That being said it would be a new rotation to get used to and a small learning experience for me. From what I have read fury does have a higher damage output and better threat reduction that arms does not have. My tanking experience so far in icc is everything through putracide in 10 and 25 but nothing beyond her. Of course i have tanked toc10/25 and ulduar 10/25 now and then but tanking has been my off spec since wrath was released. In BC all i did was tank. Right now I am in Dal and my latency is 126 and my fps is only 18 but when I am in a raid dungeon it is much better considering it is more based on tangible items on screen then anything else. What I mean to say is most lag is from video cards in dal because there are so many moving interactable objects on screen and you have only 25 +add/boss in raid vs 100+ people running around. I have connection issues some once or twice a year but it is usually on the end of my internet provider but again it is rare. Normally I am able to log on and play with no issues and I can not remember my last DC.
So I am not sure i have ever seen a successful guild that did not have a wait list. I understand I will need to work for my spot in the raid by showing up and performing. This is for the most part typical a cross the board for performing raiding guilds. In the mean time out side of 25's I would hope to be able to find some to run 10's with so I can at least work on my gear and performance when I can not join the group for 25's though. So again I am ok with not raiding 25's every week and being on a wait list. That is as long as I am not always benched.
As far as my UI goes I am almost 100% keybindings so I do not have hardly anything on my screen other then dbm warning, raid frames and my damage meter. But below is a link to my UI picture:

Re: Application: Elbowgrease, 80 Warrior
I don't actually know the numbers for caps and such. I just plug in a character to Landsoul spreadsheet and it instantly says how far from each cap you are and what stat benefits your dps the most with your current gear :D
