Required Questions

01. Please give the name, class and spec of the character that you would like to have as your main in Unleashed. Are there other specs that you would consider raiding with on this character?

Bearcatbird - Feral Tank Druid. Currently his offspec is resto but I would be willing to change that to a dps, either caster or melee.

02. Please give the names, classes and specs of any alts that you would like to bring into the guild. Are there other specs you would like to play with these characters other than thier main specs?

03. What are your constraints that limit the time you spend playing WoW?

Nothing really, I do have a full time job which rarely interferes.

04. If you are invited to join Unleashed, will you commit to making all of our scheduled 25man raids while you are a recruit? If not, please explain.

Of course I would. I can always fish or work on alts if wait listed as well.

05. What is your raiding experience? What did you raid at level 60? 70? 80? What characters and specs did you raid on? Please give details about each level of experience.

I've raided all content in WotLK except what is past Surfang. In BC I raided from Kara - BT, pre nerf. I did not raid as a 60 level toon.

06. Please list your current and former guilds and your reasons for leaving. What roles did you play in them?

I'm currently in Ebon Angels which is just a RL friend and a few buddies. I was in Mischief when I first came to the server but did not really raid with them.

07. What do you do in WoW when you're not raiding?

I enjoy achievement hunting, trying to get every cooking recipe, and running all kinds of heroics - basically anything in a group.

08. How will our raid benefit from having you in it? What are your particular strengths? What are your goals? In what ways are you currently improving your game?

I'd like to consider myself a very thoughtful bear. I spend a significant amount of time working on all aspects of my toon including gear, enchants, talent specs, and theory. I'm fast to react and I have an equally solid internet connection. I'll endure the trials and tribulations of learning a new encounter with a positive yet realistic attitude. My goal is to progress end game and leave no boss alive.

09. How will you get better as a player while you are with Unleashed?

I think player synergy and group composition is vital to improving yourself as a player, I feel that with a solid group of raiders that will be accomplished. It's hard to accomplish that "there is no I in team" mentality in a pug. Lets face it, more time killing bosses in a focused group and less time in Dalaran spamming LFG means more face-time and learning potential.

10. Please explain why you are a good fit for Unleashed. Why do you want to join? Why will we be glad you did? Anything else you would like to add or mention that will put you in a favorable light?

I hope I would be a good fit. I would like to raid with a group of focused but lighthearted people. I don't enjoy raiding with "badass mofos" who think because of their gearscore, they can be jerks. Don't get me wrong, criticism I can take but people being ridiculous is a hindrance to progression. I'm no stranger to working hard, I came from a horde guild that had a few sever firsts. I hope I can be a part of Unleashed and strive toward that.

Hi Bearcatbird.  Thanks for applying to Unleashed.  We would love to pick up another druid tank.  Your gear, however, is not very strong.  Why don't you have any tier 10?

I recently server transfered here from a horde side raiding guild on Haomarush. Being such, I have not had the opportunity to get into ICC other than the occasional PUG group which (on a good day) can clear to Surfang. I faithfully do my heroic daily for my frost badges and weekly raid. That said I have a gear plan outlined which includes every peice and what I will purchase next from the available purchaseable items. For instance my cloak was the first item, being it is BiS for beartanks and obtainable with 50 badges. My next item was the Vengeful Noose also BiS if not second from the top and very easily obtained via badges. Lastly was my trinket, which after the recent buff to the Corroded Skeleton Key is a solid tanking trinket for me. It's not BiS but it's surely not poorly itemized.

That bring us to now. My next two purchases are scheduled to be 2 T10 items for the 2 set bonus. I'm currently 31 emblems into that venture, 29 more to go for my shoulders. I'm searching for a focused group I can learn from and grow with to help me get there. Here is a screenshot of me buffed with the items I carry on my person at all times. Here are some stat highlights given my lowered state of gear;

• Hit capped (actually over capped via just gear alone, I'm sure that will change as I upgrade an item or two)
• Expertise soft capped
• 30228 armor
• 52.6K buffed from my bag, 76.3K with SI cooldown
• 44.32% dodge without Mongoose or Idol procs

I hope this will help shed a bit more light in to my current gear and gear selection as well as a bit more about myself. I'm glad I had the opportunity to expand a bit on the initial application.
